Every year, Hearing Auckland attends conference to upskill our professional staff. Last month, our audiologists Mani and Peter visited Ōtautahi (Christchurch) to attend the annual NZAS Conference.
Our audiologist Mani Kaur and clinic manager Peter Stubbing are both registered audiologists and full members of NZAS -The New Zealand Audiological Society. Every year Mani and Peter attend the annual NZAS conference. They also participate in other professional development to keep up to date with the latest in hearing care practice. The theme of this year’s conference was “Hear to Care: Advancing client and clinician care in Aotearoa”.
All of our clinicians at Hearing Auckland are fully qualified professionals. Our team keeps up-to-date with professional development throughout the year by attending annual conferences and other relevant trainings.
This doesn’t only apply to audiologists! Hearing Auckland attends conference for ear nurses as well. Later this year, our ear nurse team will be attending their conference here in Tāmaki Makaurau. Our nurses, Justine Arasaratnam and Vivien Li are both registered nurses and members of the Ear Nurse Specialist Group.
When you book an appointment at Hearing Auckland for audiology and/or ear nurse services, you receive professional, independent care from our fully qualified team. If you or a loved one are in need of ear care of any kind, make sure you book with a qualified professional.
